My career has truly been a ‘career of careers’ — a journey filled with creativity, innovation, and a constant drive to explore new avenues. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of wearing many hats, all while maintaining a deep, personal connection to the arts. For as long as I can remember, drawing and painting have been my sanctuary — my go-to hobbies and my favourite means of relaxation. Whether it was sketching, experimenting with different mediums, or creating the cartoons I enjoy so much, art has always been there to bring balance and joy to my life.

In 2017, after retiring and relocating to the picturesque town of Whitby, I found myself with the time and space to dive deeper into my passion. It’s now that I’m truly excited to share and promote the work I’ve been creating for so long. This website is a platform for me to showcase my artistic endeavours (note the James Cook pun!), and I sincerely hope that it brings as much joy to those who view it, as it has brought to me in creating it.
